分析及学习需要分析

单元的话题“Let’s celebrate”向学生介绍了中外节日和相关文化、习俗。在本课时中,学生应在老师的帮助和引导下,能就有关“个人对节日的喜好”情况相互进行简单询问及回答。通过本课时的学习能了解中外一些重要的节假日及主要庆祝方式,从而激发对本单元的学习兴趣,并初步培养自己的世界文化意识。

本课的学习对象为七年级学生,七年级是初中英语学习的初始阶段。对于节日话题,学生是非常熟悉又感兴趣的。但由于在语言知识积累方面,学生掌握的有利于表达的词汇和句型不多,所以教师应提供给学生语言线索和信息库鼓励学生在小组合作中敢于谈论自己喜爱的节日,小组内能够主动协作,共同交流。要达到本课教学目的,教师要发挥好主导作用,创设好情景,组织好活动。

课前展示视频,创造一种宽松、和谐的氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣。

呈现万圣节的图片,并对学生进行情感教育,there is no ghost in the world, we must believe science.

使学生处于积极思维的状态之中。

要求学生依据所提供的信息,展开小组交流活动。老师可巡视进行必要帮助。

调动学生的学习兴趣,使全员参与。

利用板书,通过师生之间,生生之间的对话示范,同桌之间的对话练习,以及最后的自我展示,讨论最喜欢的节日。既充分练习了本课的句型“Which is your favourite festival? ... Why do you like it?...” 又加深了学生对所学习的六个节日的认识

让学生用自己的信息替换划线部分,鼓励他们用真实情况来表演对话,四人一组活动。为方便学生自如地表达,老师可提供以下词汇并板书:

eat chocolates/ make pumpkin Lanterns.

eat rice dumplings/get Christmas presents.

选出几组同学到前面表演,可让他们看黑板上的选用词汇。鼓励他们增加动作,提高表演欲望。在表演以后,领着其他同学给予掌声鼓励。

自然过渡到漫画部分的学习。 通过看动画,听录音,跟读,分角色朗读,回答文中问题,以及表演等多种形式,调动学生的学习兴趣,使全员参与,培养学生的听力能力,对疑难问题的分析和理解和团体合作的精神。

教学反思

1、总体情况

本节课针对初一学生的特点,从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,采用活动途径,倡导体验参与,引导学生形成灵活多样的学习方式,顺利地完成了本节课的教学任务,课堂学习目标达成度高。整节课较好地体现了新课程的理念。

2、本节课成功的方面

(1)、呈现自然,激发学生的兴趣,激活学生思维。

借助多媒体这一教学工具,利用看节日视频,唱节日歌曲,出示图片、实物、画面或英文解释等方式,传授新单词,呈现节日,通过句型“What do people usually do at某节日?”的问答呈现这些节日的主要庆祝方式,同时把这些节日和庆祝方式板书,为下面讨论最喜欢的节日做准备。鼓励学生积极参加每一项活动,师生互动,生生互动,配合默契,活动质量很高。既培养了合作意识和探究精神,又充分发展了综合运用语言的能力。

(2)、重教学内容呈现的多样性。

在认识节日时,我通过展示视频让学生了解Halloween(万圣节),通过让学生听春节的鞭炮声和喜气洋洋的'新年音乐猜“What festival is this?”通过美丽的月亮图片和实物月饼,问学生What do people usually do at the Mid-Autumn Festival?通过唱Jingle bells认识Christmas(圣诞节)等。这样做可以使学生的听觉、视觉等多种器官参与英语活动,能更容易地引起并保持学生的学习兴趣,最大限度地调动学生的学习积极性。

(3)、注重课堂互动与生成

例如在学习Part B讨论最喜欢的节日和学习comic trip时,我选出几组同学到前面表演,鼓励他们增加动作,提高表演欲望。在表演以后,领着其他同学给予掌声鼓励。T: Don’t you think they’re very good?(Yes) Let’s give them a big hand.同时在课堂上,我都坚持对学生进行情感态度价值观的培养:了解中外一些重要的节假日及主要庆祝方式、培养学生对中外文化的理解能力, 提高学生对中外文化异同的鉴别能力, 培养学生的世界文化意识,增强学生对民族文化的自豪感。

在互动的课堂教学活动中,教师与学生,学生与学生就教学内容进行平等的交流,真诚的沟通,互相借鉴,取长补短,在合作的氛围中,知识变成了话题,变成了手段,整个课堂充满了创造色彩。

3、本节课有待改进的方面

本课在学习Part B讨论最喜欢的节日时, 相对较难,初一学生的学习能力和水平参差不齐。在语言知识积累方面,学生掌握的有利于表达的词汇和句型不多, 我应尽量多提供给学生语言线索和信息库并板书于黑板上。合作过程中,需要较多时间给学生讨论对话,但由于时间的关系,为了完成本课教学任务,没有给学生充分的时间去讨论和思考,小组活动中学生参与程度不均衡。如果前半节课的活动安排得紧凑一些,那么这节课的效果应当更佳。

总之,在今后的教学中,我会积极探索怎样最大限度的提高课堂效益。
