Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine‘s actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

Red roses mean that you love the one you send present to be the one you love now. Orange roses mean that you say” You are beautiful.” to your lover. And the white roses mean you respect your lover. In England, people tend to celebrate the day with a big romantic dinner. And during the dinner they will send roses to their love.
