<a href=医学相关英语演讲稿" title="医学相关英语演讲稿">

every classmate, every friend!have you heard of white dream ?perhaps ,you think hope is green, youth is red,and dream is only natural gold!but ,i think medical workers' dream is white.

you're likely to say :white stands for blank, white symbolizes poverty. but,i will tell you white also signifies creation!white also is the embodiment of vast and pureness.

people usually speak highly of medical workers as angels in white. because in their mind ,medical workers are upright ,kind, selfless and friendly.

despite the rumour and social prejudice, nantingger gave up her rich physical life, firmly, committing herself to nusing career. in this way,she destronmasted the glory of white dream.

benqiuen strode over country boundaries, devoting himself to medical career without hestion.

extremly beautiful scenery often exists in dangerous and high emly grand music is always dismal. extremly noble life frequently lies in heroic a sense, isn't medical workers' job great?if one can sacrifice his life for human, isn't he or she happy?as it going:if there isn't inveteracy, there isn't prosperous leaves and sweet-smelling flowers,if there isn't headstream and flowing water, thereisn't rapids and waterf-all,if there isn't medical workers' hard work, there isn't good and healthy life of people.

in a word,no matter what situation we might face,we must stick to the white dream.

Last year, the journal "the Lancet" had published an article, illustrated the difficult situation Chinese doctors were facing. In this article, doctor's image in people's heart was no longer the "white angel" but "white wolf", and doctors' safety was violated frequently. Which make us think: What has happened to our career?

In fact, medical careers are never an easy road, as we all know, medical exams are the most difficult items to pass, and it costs more time to become a qualified doctor. For example, if a medical student wants to find a job in a large-scale general hospital in Shanghai, he must first spend 11 years in college to get a doctor's degree, and then attend the Resident Training for another 3 years. When he finally gets the job, he will be over 30 years old. No wonder doctors are always hard to get married, it's always too late.

Besides the training difficulty, medical career is still "dangerous" in our country. When reading pa-pe-rs, you'll find mainly two kinds of reports about doctors: one is some attending doctor has made his patient dead by mistake, the other is someone doctor was killed by his patient with misunderstanding. Neither of that the doctor had a happy ending. In order to make ourselves safe and to make our clinic activities legal, we spend lots of time in "communications". I have counted that when an old man first got hospitalized, his son would have 7 places to sign his name, the hospitalizing notice, communication records, the authorizing proof, the

ID missing proof, and so on, and to make his father out of hospital, there would be more signatures waiting.

No matter how violent and dangerous and annoying medical career is, it is a "great" occupation anyway, and maybe the greatest in some respects. Firstly, doctors will protect the people's health and life. There is nothing more precious than life and health. As there would always be time for one need doctor's help, even most of the people won't choose to be a doctor themselves, they will never reject a doctor-friend. Secondly, a competent doctor can bring people hope and dignity. When people suffered physical pain, they were metally ill at the same time, they would be very sad and fragile, and appropriate encouragement and comfort by their doctor will help them a lot even after the hospital discharge. And the flower of trust between patient and doctor sometimes can bear the fruit of love. I think that's why there were numerous stories about patients fell in love with their attending doctors. Whatever, a competent doctor lives long in people's heart, and earn the best respect of his patients.

All in all, medical career is such a career that while it's challenging and dangerous, it is of great value at the same time. Although people have some misunderstandings about doctors, nowadays, I believe we will win the very respect of the whole society through continuous efforts on the help of the patients.

We are still stand here as doctors because we all have an dream, that one day all the secret of illness can be deciphered, and there will no longer be "incurable diseases", as the poem sings: life will be beautiful as summer flowers, and death like autumn leaves.

Good afternoon everyone! My name is XXX. It’s my great honor to stand here giving my presentation. Someone of you may feel annoyed that you are easier to get a catch as the weather is getting colder and colder. Now I’d like to share some little tricks about how to strengthen your immune system and stay away from cold.

Well the first thing you’d better do is to optimize Vitamin D levels. It should be noted that Vitamin D is not actually a vitamin but also a kind of hormone which has receptor sites in every area of the body including the immune system and respiratory tissue. Studies have linked Vitamin

D as necessary for the production of antimicrobial protein from immune cells in response to infection.

Low levels of vitamin D in the blood are linked with increased incidence of upper respiratory infection. Then you may be concerned about how much Vitamin D should we intake and what kinds of foods are rich in it? Adults should keep optimum levels by taking at least 2000IU daily. It isn’t hard to match the standard if we eat an egg, drink a cup of milk and have some fruits and vegetables everyday. Well, the best way is to exposure to natural sunlight , and this is the primary method by which the human body generates vitamin D stores.

Secondly, learning about some immune boosting tonics is helpful. The recommended one is a Chinese herbal medicine astragalus, used to prevent illness and strengthen immunity once you do get sick. You can buy the root and make it into a tea or soup, otherwise , buy extracts in liquid or capsule form and take as directed.

Breathe deeply is also an effective way to improve one’s immunity. All you need to do is ma-ki-ng deep breaths when you are free. Do this correctly by using the muscles of your abdomen and the ones between your ribs to squeeze more air out of your lungs as you exhale. By moving more air out, you bring more air in. All owing your breath to be fuller , deeper and more even helps you to optimize immunity and access spontaneous healing in your body.

Finally, I want to end my speech with the sincere suggestion: leading a healthy live. Make sure to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Eat an anti-inflammatory diet filled with fruits and vegetables of a variety of colors. Try to get some exercise everyday even if it’s just 30 minutes walking 。

That’s all, thank you!
