中印边界“对峙”英语怎么表达

5月5日，英语免费站，学英语的好网站，在拉达克地区对峙的中印两国陆军同时向后撤退，学习英语的网站，暂时结束了已持续三周的边界对峙。

Beijing confirmed on Monday that China and India have made positive developments in a three-week border standoff, and called for joint efforts to create a “fair and reasonable” border treaty.

中国政府周一表示，中国和印度两国就延续三周的'边界对峙事件协商已取得积极进展，并呼吁双方共同努力以达成一个“公平合理”的边界问题协议。

中印两国的边界对峙（border standoff）始于今年4月中旬，印方指责中国军队越界进入印度领土（trespass on Indian territory），而中方则表示，中国军队一直致力于维护边界地区的和平与安宁（peace and tranquility），未曾跨过印方实际控制线（the Line of Actual Control）。

Standoff指对立双方互不相让的僵持对峙状态，比如，去年中国和菲律宾之间持续长达一月有余的黄岩岛僵局（Huangyan Island standoff），“陷入僵局”可以说come to/reach a standoff，双方僵持的状态也可叫confrontation（对峙）。
