本课主要学习cucumber，tomato，potato，carrot，onion五个蔬菜名称以及各自单复数形式，通过学习学生能够简单对这几样蔬菜进行描述，如:The cucumbers are fresh and tender. 在学习中，学生能够培养起健康饮食，多吃蔬菜、水果，少吃油炸等不健康食物。

　　学情分析

四年级的学生已经接触过一年的英语，掌握了基本的口语交际能力，同学之间能够进行简单的会话。本课充分利用生活中的实物，激发学生的学习兴趣，让他们在所创设的情境中能够更好地融入到课堂教学中，从而将所学内容熟练运用到生活中。

　　教学目标

1、能够说出自己喜欢的蔬菜: I like tomatoes/ potatoes/carrots...

2、能简单描述出所学蔬菜的特点，如：The potatoes are big and tasty. The cucumbers arefresh and tende.

3、培养学生多食蔬菜水果的意识, 让他们明白新鲜的蔬菜水果是健康食品，应该多吃；肉类应适量，少吃或不吃油炸的垃圾食品。

　　教学重点和难点

1． 三会（听说读）单词：potato, tomato, onion, cucumber, carrot.

2． 单词potato , tomato的复数形式。

　　教学过程

　　一、Greetings

1、Hello !How are you?

2、Free talk

T：How many animals do you know？

S1：sheep，hen，cow，horse，goat，lamb ….

　　二Warming up

1、 sing a song“Mary has a little lamb”

2、 ask“Do you like vegetables ?” 、“What vegetable do you know ?”

　　三、Presentation

1、A riddle for you : it is white ; it has two long ears . What is it ? 从而引出rabbit ，再接着问“What do rabbits like to eat ?学生回答：“ Rabbits like to eat carrots . ”carrot是新授的第一个单词, carrots ,carrots, yummy, yummy, yummy.学生有感情地跟读。

2、I like carrots . They are yummy , orange and long . What is long , too ?从而巧妙地引入cucumber 。They are green.

3、教学onion.

a．运用一个黑袋子制造悬念，把2个洋葱放入不透明的袋子里，鼓励学生 touch ，smell and guess，

b. 让学生补全单词onion. 让学生数一数袋中的onions。说一说：onions, onions, smelly, smelly , smelly.

4、继续运用guess引入并教学tomato与potato

（1）教学tomato.

a.出示不完整的`词汇 tom _ t _,让学生根据单词的发音把单词补完整：tomato 并把词汇贴在黑板上。b.拿出事先准备好的放在盘子里的三个番茄，问：How many tomatoes? 让学生数一数，说出单词的复数形式。教师强调tomato变复数形式后加es, 并补全黑板上的单词tomatoes. 让学生边说边做动作：Tomatoes, tomatoes, juicy, juicy, juicy.

（2）教学potato

(3)指出tomato和potato这两个词复数的特殊变化方式：末尾加es

1、Let’s chant.

打开录音，让学生根据黑板上留下的蔬菜图片和单词来理解chant. 学生边打拍子边说。

1．指着黑板上的蔬菜问：What do you like? 让学生说出自己喜欢的蔬菜并能运用所学的形容词来进行简单的描述：I like tomatoes. They are juicy and red…..

2．让学生自由交谈他们所喜欢的蔬菜。

3．vegetables and fruit are healthy food. They are green food. We should eat more.
