During the winter holiday, nothing was different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. Thwas was one dull day of my winter holiday.

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I lwasten to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the holiday ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennwas tegether I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 20xx year! when i saw this, i went up to them. i asked the saleswoman the price of the shirt first and then i said to the foreigner in english, “one hundred and forty-eight yuan.” hearing this he said to me, “oh, thank you! but its too epensive. would you please ask her if she can make it cheaper? if she can , i will buy ten.” i told her what he said , and she agreed. in the end the foreigner paid 1,200 yuan for ten shirts.

徐老师很严厉，上课时，读错一个单词要再读三遍。背课文时，背错了要重新再背。默写时，默错一个单词要重默十遍。下课时，又布置一大堆作业让我们回家写。有时，我经常埋怨徐老师：“布置那么多作业，一点休息的时间也没有。”

可徐老师在学习方法上很有一套，她经常会给我们发一张小纸条，小纸条上面印的是每个单元的重点。每天回家，妈妈都会按照小纸条上的内容帮我复习。上课时，老师也会经常给我们默单词。有一次，我默错了一个单词，交给老师时，老师说：“这个单词应这样记：T和H发S的音……你把这个单词先读三遍，然后再抄十遍。”我心里想，抄那么多遍干什么，我又不是不会。过了几天，老师又给我们听写了，这次我“刷刷刷”很快就把所有的单词都默出来了，“太好了，竟然得了100分。”我开心的叫了起来。那时，我并不知道，这都是徐老师的功劳啊！

功夫不负有心人，直到学期快要结束时，我才能知道徐老师为什么这样做，她是在为我们不断地巩固已学过的的知识，真正做到记住单词，找准发音，使每个同学能在考试中取得比较好的成绩。

it‘s been a long time since i‘ve done something positive to the environment. feeling guilty-ridden and determined to do something that i know would definitely please my parents and teachers,i decided to plant several trees on the hill in the rural area of the city on tree planting day with a few friends.  feeling breezy and light-hearted, we came to the foot of the hill and selected a place that looked suitable and settled down. we spent a few hours digging holes and placing the young seedlings. we took numerous pictures of the beautiful place. we also wrote our wishes and buried it deep down the roots of the trees. i felt tired quickly and though i didn‘t realise it, it was time to go. i gazed up at the sky and took in all the wonderful features of mother nature. i felt really glad that we made it for this trip and sweared that i would do my part on protecting the environment.
