有一次上课，广播里说:“请跳团体操的同学们到学校体育馆排练。”英语老师让她们去了，可是又说：“你们放学后留下来，我给你们补课。”她是多么负责啊！有哪位老师肯花自己的时间去给几个同学补课。

又有一次，我们吃好了中午饭，准备回教室休息，这时，高老师也要回教室，她看见了我们，问：“你们的英语作业做完了吗？”我们都摇头说：“没有做完。”“怎么没做完？布置的又不多。”“没有时间做，别的作业还没写完呢。”高老师笑了笑搂着我们亲切地说：“你们现在挺忙的'，我们小时候可没这么忙。”是啊，现在比四年级忙多了，休息的时间都没有，下课都像没下课似的。

我想：“以前我都是错听力，这次我可不能再错了！”于是，我仔细地听着每一个单词、字母，生怕漏掉哪题。过了一会儿，听力部分结束了，我们马上做起了笔试部分，真是俗话说得好“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”，经过前几天的`反复复习，我健笔如飞地答着题，下决心一定要得到满分！过了许久，英语考试终于结束了，我常常地舒了一口气。

下午，成绩公布了，我得了99分，我错的完全是因为马虎，我居然在写意思时把“朋友”写成了“朋”！通过这次考试，我懂得了“欲速则不达”这个道理，尽管充分复习，但考试不仔细检查，是得不到满分的。
