After a long hard battle against the national senior high school leaving examination, I finally obtained victory and entered the school of my dream, ************ University. In the first fews days here, everything appeared new and fresh to me, the school has a totally different learning environment compared to senior high school where everyone was merely immersed in exams everyday, but here in college, students are more relaxed and are able to enjoy the fun of learning rather than being tortured by practice pa-pe-rs everyday. And the best of all, I got to know many new friends here who are willing to show me around and help me to get to used to the new college life. Everything appears really cool and I really enjoyed this new place a lot.

Ten years ago, the Internet was practically unheard of by most people. Today, the Internet is one of the most powerful tools throughout the world. The Internet is a collection of various services and resources. According to RuBrock, a director and consultant at the Center for Innovation and Inquiry, the Internet’s main components are E-mail and the World Wide Web. “There’s a lot more to the Internet than E-mail, search engines, celerity web sites, up-to-the-second sports scores, and chat rooms full of risqué discussions. The Net also ranks as one of today’s best businetools - if it’s used adroitly”. Almost all households contain the Internet However，old people don‘t like the internet at all，Because when their children are online, they can easily be lured into something dangerous. When children talk to others online, they do not realize they could actually be talking to a harmful person. As a result, there have been many cases where children have been convinced to meet people they have talked with online. In fact, “stories seem to come out every week: a child or teenager lured into something foolish, dangerous, or even deadly on line” in one hand，today, it is almost required that students use the Internet for research. Thirty percent of teachers give assignments requiring research from the Internet. In the classroom, sixty-six percent of teachers use the Internet to teach . In another hand，downloading games, going into chat rooms, or just surfing the Web are some of the uses teenagers have discovered. There are numerous games that may be downloaded from the Internet at no charge . Chat rooms are popular because teenagers can meet new and interesting people. In my opinion，today’s society is in the middle of a technological boom. People can either choose to take advantage of this era, or simply let it pathem by. The Internet is a very powerful tool. It has many advantages; however, people need to be extremely aware of the disadvantages as well.

Bringing with expectation, I got into Zhejiang Gongshang University. Generally speaking, it's an interesting and fantastic place for us to study and live in. Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight. Curious and out of politeness, I'd talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with my new classmates from everywhere around China. What's more, time and weather permitting, I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory, I choose to read news online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However, a good student can never leave his study behind. When it comes to study, hard problems never upset me, instead they arouse me. Rather than ignoring it, I'd think carefully for a while and ask my classmates for help.

To be honest, there are some things I don’t deal with properly. For instance, once I spent nearly a whole day playing computer games.
